Jane and Finch rapper Toronto Ricky formerly known as BenFrank just dropped the ZeckoJ–directed visuals for his banger Sticky. Towards the end of 2016 Ricky dropped his debut mixtape Neighborhood Santa. Out of the 12 tracks on the tape Sticky was definitely the stand out single. It collected the most views and had the catchiest hook.
The music video shows Toronto Ricky out in his hood rocking a fly Messi jersey while rapping the chorus “who can I trust when it’s sticky, ten toes in the field like I’m Messi”. In this trap banger T.R. makes it clear that he doesn’t trust just anyone. Throughout the visuals of Sticky he posts up with his boys who most have known each other and lived in the same hood since the playground days. Ricky’s project was all about loyalty to his family, friends, and his block, so it only made sense that it was shot in the Lane–(a hood in Jane and Finch).
