Pressa – Novacane (Prod. MurdaBeatz) [Official Video]

Towards the end of 2016 Migos’ producer (and Niagara Falls native) MurdaBeatz released his debut mixtape Keep God First and four Toronto artists were featured on it. The artists are Jay Whiss, Smoke Dawg, Jimmy Prime and among the three Downtown Toronto rap artists was Jane and Finch rapper Pressa. It’s arguable that the Up Top rapper representing Blue Feathers Record had the hardest track–Novacane–as it got the most plays and is the first track from the tape to get a music video.

Pressa had an outstanding 2016 and really made his mark in the industry. Artists like Lil Bibby and Meek Mill have been seen bumping the Toronto artist and a song featuring Tory Lanez leaked after Tory mentioned Pressa in an interview. Now 2017 kicks off and Pressa’s banger Novacane gets a music video attached to it. The visuals for the Toronto street anthem shows Pressa in various scenes familiar to Torontonians and Canadians in general. From the escalator of a TTC subway, to a Greyhound, to the Skylon tower in Niagara Falls, to the Rogers Centre and some of the Toronto skyline in the background, this video is really for the city.

2016 was Pressa’s start-up year, now 2017 is here and we have to expect the young Toronto trap artist to take his career to a new level. His first video of the year and not only is it a Toronto banger, but it also got premiered as a WSHH exclusive video.

At the end of the video alongside all Pressa’s social media handles was the announcement that his mixtape Press Machine will be dropping soon. So stay tuned for that!
