Here Are 7 Songs Featuring Tory Lanez You Might’ve Missed In 2016

2016 was Tory Lanez biggest year to date. He constantly made headlines for the Drake back and forth, he rejected the XXL Freshman Class cover, he released his debut album, he held the number 1 spot in the caribbean and got his first platinum single for LUV, he released The New Toronto 2 and Chixtape 4 and he got nominated for a Grammy. HUGE year. Among all these big accomplishments there were many tracks Tory Lanez was on, which were not his own. Tory is known for selling hooks, and hopping on tracks with various artists even some who aren’t close to as known as him. This list is made up of songs that the Toronto rapper/singer was featured on that you might of missed in 2016.

Stevie Davis – On My Way (Feat. Tory Lanez)

In early 2016 a young Toronto rapper surfaced onto the scene with a very prestigious collaboration. Yes, you guessed it the 17-year old rapper Stevie Davis teamed up with Tory Lanez for this dope track titled “On My Way”.

Dutch Capital – Walk Away (Feat. Tory Lanez)

Dutch Capital is an emerging Maryland, DC rapper who teamed up with Tory Lanez in 2016 to release his song “Walk Away”. The song was premiered on Billboard, and Tory Lanez hops on a verse for the American rapper and not on the chorus like he does for most of his features.

Spenzo – I Want You (Feat. Tory Lanez)

His name is Spenzo and he’s from Englewood, Chicago. Early in 2016 he tapped Tory Lanez for “I Want You”. The producer of this track was C-Sick who also produced Tory’s #FargoFriday banger titled “Tim Duncan”.

STK Rax & AyFif – RIDE (Feat. Tory Lanez)

Of the many lowkey features Tory Lanez participated in, this one was the only one that got a music video attached to it. At the start of the video you see Fargo posted up with the whole Toronto GDS (Grind Don’t Stop) gang. Although Tory doesn’t participate in the storyline of the video, it’s not common for Toronto up and comers to get an artist like Tory in the cut.

OuttaTown – Millions (Feat. Tory Lanez)

Of the 7 features with Tory Lanez on this list three of them got videos with the Brampton rapper/singer and this is the second. OuttaTown hails from Detroit and he got Tory Lanez on the chorus and a verse for his track Millions.

Trav – Livin’ Right (Feat. Tory Lanez)

Trav is the New York rapper known for being the former G-Unit artist who got in an altercation with 50 Cent in 2014. In 2016 he did not release a lot of music, but among the songs he did release was a collaboration with our music scene’s newest mainstream rap star Tory Lanez. They teamed up for a track called “Livin’ Right” and Tory Lanez made an appearance in Trav’s video for the song.

Kranium – We Can (Feat. Tory Lanez)

Kranium is the Jamaican dancehall artist from New York that went on tour with Tory Lanez. The two teamed up for this amazing track titled “We Can”. It made perfect sense for Kranium to collab with the Toronto star after Tory took his shot at releasing the dancehall-influenced LUV.
