Early last year Jazz Cartier went on to become the unofficial, self-claimed prince of Toronto’s hip-hop scene. He had an amazing year. From releasing Hotel Paranoia, to selling out The Mod Club, and The Phoenix, to live streaming is homecoming performance, to going on 41 tour dates in the last quarter of 2016, and performing at Rebel Nightclub (fka Sound Academy) to end off 2016. A huge year for the Downtown Toronto rapper. Now he kicks of 2017 in style, with the first World Record on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 radio show.
The song is called Tempted, and it’s kind of like a remake of Tempted To Touch, except it sounds nothing like the original. Jazz only states the title of Rupee’s 2004 hit song Tempted To Touch. The new Jazz Cartier record is a relatable banger, and will be on Jazz Cartier’s upcoming project is titled Fleurever. Although we don’t have a release date, we’re all hoping it’s within’ the first half of 2017.
