The Beats Mind Movement is a 6 month youth programming initiative dedicated to young people between the ages of 16 – 24 interested in growing and developing a skill set in the world of recording arts with a focus on Audio engineering and Production.
In the program facilitated by Toronto’s Juno Award-winning producer and rapper Rich Kidd, applicants learn skills in Audio Engineering and Production.
– Learn about the business of music and artist promotion.
– Participants collaborate to write, produce, and promote an original album.
– Hear from industry guest speakers and ask questions
On October 19, 2016 the Beats Mind Movement is having it’s first showcase hosted by the program facilitator and Toronto hip-hop star Rich Kidd.
The event will be held at The Rivoli (334 Queen Street W) and entrance will be $5.
There will be 14 acts performing, and it will run from 5:00PM – 8:00PM.
